Who I am

Alan Bouteiller self-portrait

Engineer with a strong eye for design and product.

Engineer with a strong eye for design and product.

I'm a full-stack engineer — comfortable across the stack, from frontend to cloud infrastructure. What shapes how I work is that I care just as much about why something is built as how it's built.

I have a genuine interest in design and typography, and I think it shows in what I ship. Not just shipping features, but making sure they make sense. Software shouldn't just function; it should feel intentional.

I'm naturally curious and devote time to open-source projects outside of work — it's how I explore ideas and stay sharp.

Outside of work, I recharge through running, weight training, rock climbing, and contributing to community-driven projects.
